Getting back into a routing after the holidays should be approached in a positive way with the right perspective: attitude, good humour and a lot of energy.

Going back to work with a smile on your face and ready to go is possible. Doing this is easier than it might seem. Willpower and awareness are key.

Tips for achieving it

September is a month marked by getting back into routines: work, school and daily life. After the summer holidays, the body and mind need to be ready for it. For this reason, we want to share some tips to get back to work full of energy.

  • Prepare your mind. Arriving with a positive attitude is key. Try to push negative thoughts out of your mind and focus on the positive, which is plenty.
  • Get your schedule back. On holidays, your schedule changes completely. For this reason, we recommend starting to get your schedule back little by little a few days before going back to work, to get your body used to it.
  • Do sport. The days before going back to work, recharge your energy by practising some sport. Taking a walk, going for a run or to swim will help to recharge your energy after the holidays and give you the boost you need.
  • Return to healthy eating. Starting to eat healthy and avoiding the typical excess of summer holidays will help you to get back into your routine in a better mood.
  • Do your work in doses. On your first day back in the office, it’s best to stay calm and suitably dose your work. Plan everything properly so that you can do what you need to little by little. Organisation will avoid saturation.
