4 dishes that will improve your mood


These recipes, full of colour and nutrients, bring a boost of positive energy.

Some foods can help to keep our mood on a high. Also, by combining them in simple ways, we can obtain tasty and very healthy dishes.

Salmon and potato timbale. Wash 3 potatoes and boil them without peeling. Cut 2 onions into rings and fry them in some oil until golden. Rinse the potatoes and cut them in slices. To assemble the timbales, place a slice of potato, a few slices of smoked salmon and some onion rings. Repeat the sequence. With 250 g of smoked salmon you can create 8 timbales.

Chickpea and pumpkin bowl. Drizzle some oil onto cooked chickpeas and roast them in the oven for 30 minutes. After 10 minutes, add diced pumpkin with salt and pepper to taste. 5 minutes later, add strips of courgette. Allow to cool and assemble the bowl: place green shoots on the bottom, then the chickpeas, the pumpkin, the courgette, and finally the raw onion rings.

Salad with avocado flower. Wash 200 g of strawberries and cut them into slices. Cut 2 avocados in half, remove the pit and take out the pulp. Place the halves on an oiled surface and cut them into thin slices, spray with lemon and shape into a rose. Finally, mix lettuce leaves with the fruit and the flower. Dress with vinegar and oil vinaigrette.

Banana with fruits of the forest. Split a banana in half and fill it with fruits of the forest, dehydrated coconut slivers and varied chopped nuts. If you accompany it with a tea, coffee or herbal tea, this can be a tasty and energetic breakfast that will brighten your day.
